Terms of use

Who makes it
Zero Hour Reforged is a free, non-commercial fan project of Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour, made by Olcay Seygan. Using the site, the launcher or the game build means accepting these terms.
You need the game
Zero Hour Reforged is not a copy of the game and brings no game data. To play you need your own copy of Zero Hour, the Steam release for example, and the launcher installs over it.
Electronic Arts
Command & Conquer, Generals and Zero Hour are trademarks of Electronic Arts Inc. This project is not made, endorsed or supported by Electronic Arts and has no affiliation with it. Questions about the project go to info@zerohour.gg, not to EA.
The source code
The game's code is the source Electronic Arts released under the GNU General Public License version 3, with EA's additional terms on its trademarks, and the changes made here are under the same license. You may read, change and share the code on those terms. The full text is in LICENSE.md in the source repository.
No warranty
The launcher, the game build and this site are offered as they are, with no warranty of any kind. They can crash, lose a save or stop working after a Windows update, so back up anything you care about. As far as the law allows, the maker is not liable for damage that comes from using them. Sections 15 and 16 of the GPL say the same for the code.
Donations
A donation is a voluntary gift, paid through ByNoGame. It buys nothing: no goods, no service, no feature and no priority. The game and the launcher are the same for those who give and those who do not. ByNoGame handles the payment, so a question about a charge goes there first.
The contact form
Use it for messages about the project. Spam, advertising, abuse and attempts to break the site are not allowed, and such messages are deleted without an answer.
Changes
These terms can change as the project does. The date at the top says when they last did, and the version on this page is the one that applies.
